Full Color Screen Printing

Simulated Process Screen Printing. Available on any
colored shirts. Unlimited colors of printing at no extra charge. Minimum
Order is 50 shirts, call or email for quote.
In addition to spot color screen printing that we offer on colored shirts,
we also offer full color screen printing, commonly known as simulated
process color printing. In true 4 color process printing, the colors CMYK,
(cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) are used.
Full color or simulated process printing uses standard ink colors--royal,
scarlet red, yellow, and black (additional colors can be used) along with
white to produce prints that are very vibrant and photo-realistic when
printed on black or other colored shirts. The artwork is color separated
by computer into halftone images, each color separation is then printed
onto the garment in a specific order. We print our simulated process
prints using 65 l.p.i. and use up to 6 colors of ink.

It is very important to understand that because an image is being screen
printed onto a garment, the final print on the shirt may not look exactly
like the original. With process screen printing, there will be a certain
muddying of colors and the entire print will not look as sharp as the
original. With simulated process color printing, you can come within 75%
to 80% of the original.

Simulated process printing produces excellent results on black shirts.
Additionally, other colored shirts including white work extremely well.
Simulated process printing works great for most photo-realistic type of images
including those for: rock groups, fantasy images, computer art, sports
teams, color photographs and color portraits.

For best results, we require Adobe Photoshop .psd or .tiff files that have
been saved at least 200-250 d.p.i. resolution. Additionally, we need the
image to be at the actual imprint size which is 11" X 13" for a full size
image or 4" X 4" for a left chest size image. The files are usually very
large, 20-30 megs, and you will need to compress your files with a program
like WinZip before e-mailing your files to us, or save your artwork onto a
CD-ROM disk and send it to us. Excellent results can also be produced from
vector type artwork, such as Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw files.
